Hi Shane & Rachel, Congratulations. I am assuming that you got the loan. Will you still hunt deer in your old places? I hope so. We are considering returning to you in 2010. My house is being built now in Pa. so any hunting trips are out this year. I have made some new hunting contacts in Pa so maybe I’ll have some better luck this year.

I hunted deer with Shane & Rachel in November 2004.I saw 2 does just before dark & chosed to passon them even though i had a doe permit.Because I had 1 more day to hunt.I knew the potential of their area for nice bucks.I went home empty handed,but because they run a classy operation.I had great memories,lots of laughs with other hunters,great meals & a sense that I was part of the family.Also knowing that they had done everything in their power to make my hunt a memorable one.As far as hunting went that year for me in other states,it was pretty much the same.I hunted Virginia(rifle),only saw 1 doe in 3 days.Bucks only.Normally I would see 25-30 deer.Weather was warm.Deer were’nt moving.In West Virginia, the weather changed & I saw more deer.I shot a nice 5 pointer(muzzleloader).In Maryland,I took a big doe(shotgun)But I didn’t have as much fun as I did at 15milestream with Shane & Rachel.What does that tell you about their operation.I haven’t been back since because of 3 operations on my hips & a hernia operations during the season last year.But I’m hoping to go back in the near future.Thanks Al Bergeron

Just would like to tell anyone looking for a good week of trapping with a good trapping instructor, Shane is the guy you’re looking for!!!
Just got done trapping for a week with them…had a great time….trapped some fine fur….good friendly atmosphere with fine food and plan on coming back again!

I hunted with Shane and Rachel during the first week of Nov. this year. What a great experience it was. Shane and his guides worked hard to put me in areas that had active deer sign and Wed. morning I bagged my first buck ever and I’m 56. It wasn’t a “Booner” but I was thrilled. Rachel and Shane run a first class operation. The cabins are clean and warm, the meals are outstanding and all the staff treated me like an old friend. There were three in my hunting party, two of us were successful and we are all planning on going back.

Did a day and night coyote hunt, most fun I had hunting ever!! Everyone was so professional, and yet I felt like I was there with good friends I had known forever! Thank you Shane and Rachel, and please thank your staff. You will see me again!!
